Dallas Lawyer Darrell Cook had to explain in writing why he had to file a continuance for a routine hearing in a lawsuit. He has to go to the World Series to see the Rangers play.

“Since 1972, when Darrell was but a lad of 13, he has been a fan of the Texas Rangers baseball club (hereinafter referred to as ‘Rangers’),” the motion says.
