Ted Turner on Rupert Murdoch: 'He's Going to Have to Step Down'
Ted Turner doesn’t think Rupert Murdoch is going to make it out of this phone hacking scandal cleanly. In an interview with Bloomberg Television, Turner said, “I think he’s going to have to step down. He hasn’t survived anything like this. This is serious.”
We shouldn’t expect anything less from Turner. Murdoch and Turner battled back and forth for many years as titans of the media industry. But it does makes you wonder if pressure from big time media players will have any impact on News Corporation.
