Sylvana Ward Durrett to Depart Vogue

She's starting her own company.

Sylvana Ward Durrett, who has been credited as the chief planner behind the Met Gala, is leaving Vogue.

According to The New York Post, Durrett is moving on to start her own business. Durrett started at Vogue in 2009 as an asisstant to Anna Wintour. She most recently served as director of special projects.

“Sylvana will continue to produce the annual Met Gala and be a consultant for Vogue on a number of other projects,” said a Vogue spokesperson.
