Survivor Producer Fighting Extradition Order

Attorneys for Bruce Beresford-Redman are attempting to overturn an extradition that would send the former Survivor television producer to Mexico in order to stand trial for the murder of his wife.

U.S. Magistrate Jacqueline Chooljian found probable cause in July to extradite Beresford-Redman in the death of Monica Burgos Beresford-Redman, but attorney Vicki Podberesky is arguing there’s no physical evidence, according to the Los Angeles Times:

“No blood evidence belonging to Monica Burgos Beresford-Redman was recovered from inside the room, outside the room or at the sewage cistern, notwithstanding the existence of a chop wound and the fact that hair on the frontal part of the skull had been pulled out, which would have likely caused significant bleeding,” Podberesky wrote.
