More reports are coming in from this afternoon’s WGA solidarity rally in Greenwich Village’s Washington Square Park. From Sherry Goldman, spokesperson, WGA East:
”Presidential Candidate Senator John Edwards spoke to the ‘packed house,’ stressing his support for our fight to win a fair and respectful contract and reaffirming his commitment not to cross WGA picket lines at The View and also the upcoming CBS-sponsored Democratic debate … Evan Handler, Aasif Mandvi, Gilbert Gottfried were among the celebrities that spoke at the podium.
