The success of Curbed has already spawned a successful spinoff — Eater — and we’re now hearing Gawker Media managing editor and Curbed founder Lockhart Steele — no stranger to fine-tailored shirts — is readying a shopping blog that’ll try to do for the city’s retail shopping scene what Eater has done for restaurants — that is, the sharp, easier-said-than-done neighborhood touch.
The blog is said to be based on Curbed’s Storefronting feature.
