Star-Ledger Quietly Launches 'HuffPo Of New Jersey'

EXCLUSIVE

This morning, the Newark Star-Ledger, Tony Soprano‘s paper of choice, was slated to launch what they’re calling, at least internally, the Huffington Post of New Jersey. NJVoices.com has roughly 30 bloggers signed up to cover politics, education and culture, among other Garden State muckery.

The site officially launches July 22.

If it sounds familiar, it is … sort of: New York Observer owner Jared Kushner had reportedly been mulling a Jersey version of the salmon-colored newspaper, and wound up buying the site PoliticsNJ in March.
