Spoiling the Surprises: The Ins and Outs of the Super Bowl Spending Spree

Last year, for the Super Bowl, this writer attended a party hosted by members of a media site who, throughout the whole game, live blogged the commercials. It was fun and all, but whenever this writer tried opening his mouth to try and say something about who directed what spot or which agency was responsible for this and that, he was politely told to shut up, because no one cared about that stuff. Granted, that’s likely very true, save for the people in the industry, but on the other hand, this writer got to watch the game because he wasn’t typing hilarious commentary about why that last Budweiser ad was so totally, totally lame.
