Social Media Success: Kenosha Police Department Makes Christmas Video

The town of Kenosha is the fourth-largest city in Wisconsin, at 96,000 people.

Which makes it all the more remarkable that a low-budget video of the Kenosha police department singing their rendition of “The Twelve Days Of Christmas” has received 75,000 views in one week. That’s more than 3/4 of the population of the entire city.

The video has received over 150 comments on YouTube, most of them positive.

Apparently the video was filmed on the cops’ own dime and when they were off duty, so it’s a feel-good story all around, and a great case study in social media management.
