Smithsonian Media Group has named Amy Wilkins chief revenue officer. Wilkins was most recently senior vp of sales and marketing for Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia.
This is a homecoming for Wilkins as she previously served as Smithsonian’s publisher, from 2000 to 2005.
“Amy exhibited remarkable foresight,resourcefulness, and ingenuity during her tenure with Smithsonian Media, and throughout her exemplary career in publishing,” said Smithsonian Enterprises president Christopher Liedel, in an announcement. “We are thrilled to have her back on the team leading Smithsonian Media brands to ever greater success.”
