Sitara Nieves Named New Senior Producer of 'Marketplace'
Kai Ryssdal has a new senior producer of his “Marketplace” show. American Public Media just announced Sitara Nieves would be taking over the role. She comes to “Marketplace” from WNYC’s “The Takeaway,” which she worked on since its founding in 2008.
“The quick-response nature of “The Takeaway” taught Sitara to move fast – very fast – while she led the development of four hours of live broadcast journalism every day,” said “Marketplace” executive producer Deborah Clark in the release.
