SFMOMA Releases Official Shortlist for Donald Fisher Expansion

Back in mid-March, a few names from the SFMOMA/Donald Fisher expansion were leaked and, as you’d expect, it was pretty starchitect heavy, including your Renzo Pianos and your Rem Koolhaas‘ galore. But now that the official shortlist has been released, it looks like either that original leak was a little off, or they’ve already done some early celebrity architect shaving. The final four in the running are Foster + Partners, David Adjaye‘s firm, Diller Scofidio + Renfro, and the Norwegian group, Snohetta.
