Sex Blog Scandal Case Nears Day In Court; Time's Ana Marie Cox Could Be Handcuffed

Our favorite sex blogger-cum-author Jessica Cutler‘s day in court could come soon, as the infamous 2004 lawsuit that helped launch her career nears a trial:

Lurid testimony about spanking, handcuffs and prostitution aside, the Washingtonienne case could help establish whether people who keep online diaries are obligated to protect the privacy of the people they interact with offline.

Interesting note: Time magazine’s Washington editor and then-Wonkette whistleblower Ana Marie Cox has been added as a defendant in the case, but plaintiff Robert Steinbuch has not served her with court papers.
