Serene Branson of CBS 2 Suffers Bizarre Speech Impediment on Live TV

While covering the Grammys Sunday night, television reporter Serene Branson began slurring her words and speaking gibberish:

In light of rumors that Branson had suffered a stroke, CBS 2 posted a statement online:

Serene Branson was examined by paramedics on scene immediately after her broadcast. Her vital signs were normal. She was not hospitalized. As a precautionary measure, a colleague gave her a ride home and she says that she is feeling fine this morning.

We’re hoping she was just drunk.
