Self Magazine Announces New Hires And Promotions
Self has named Anita Maiella as its new advertising director and Lauren Hulkower-Belnick as its new executive director, beauty as of August 16.
Maiella’s new position will see her heading international and American fashion, retail, and prestige & mass beauty at the magazine. Wendy Nanus will also continue as advertising director at Self, overseeing health, food, fitness and mass beauty. Maiella comes to Self from Vogue, where she worked as the magazine’s American fashion director.
Hulkower-Belnick is also a Vogue vet, having previously worked as the magazine’s beauty director.
Andrew Lee joins Self as director of business and finance, having recently held the same position for Condé Nast’s Media Group.
