Sean Penn Facing 18 Months in Prison for Kicking a Paparazzo

Sean Penn has been charged with battery and vandalism and could face 18 months in jail if found guilty. The charges stem from an Oct. 2, 2009 incident where Penn kicked a photographer outside the Brentwood Country Mart. TMZ reported on the incident at the time.

The 49-year-old actor, who won best actor Oscars for “Milk” and “Mystic River,” was known in his younger days for his clashes with the paparazzi.
