SciFi Mag Goes Online
The future is online. So you would think this would be the first place to find SF magazines. Apparently not. Starlog will be the first science fiction magazine to go from print to exclusive online publishing, reports Folio. Their final print edition is out this month.
The publication has been in print for 33 years, but issue 374 will be the last one in print. “After 33 years, and considering the present state of the economy, we feel it’s time for a major revamp and will be temporarily discontinuing publication while the model and redesign of the magazine are contemplated and executed,” Starlog wrote on its Web site.
