As digital development executive at Endemol, the world’s largest independent TV production company, Adam Besserman spends his days crafting online content. So when it came time to spruce up a recently sent out electronic invitation to his upcoming July 2011 nuptials with actress Elana Schwarzman, he decided to create an original, full-length trailer in the style of The Purple Rose of Cairo.
Teasing the wedding under the title Save the Date, the trailer – shot over a weekend at the Beverly Cinema and other LA locations – sees Schwarzman stepping off the movie screen and causing havoc.
