Here’s a piece of advice. If you’re going to spend a bunch of money on renovating and building a fancy hotel in New York, we recommend you don’t change some of your architectural plans at the last minute without the city’s consent, even if you are Robert De Niro. The actor is trying to convince the Landmarks Preservation Commission to allow him to build a swanky new penthouse at the top of his Greenwich Hotel.
