Rick Reilly: Non-Compete Clause "Is Bliss."
A quick update on Rick Reilly, who became rich as Croesus when he jumped ship from Sports Illustrated to ESPN mag late last year. Under the terms of his non-compete, however, his starting date at ESPN was pushed down to June 2008.
Then his original plan to work on film projects got scuttled by the pesky WGA strike. So how is Reilly spending his newfound free time? The dude is vacationing like crazy:
“I just got back from three weeks in Argentina… and I’m fixing to go to Tahiti, Thailand, New Zealand, Cabo, Europe.
