Revolving Door: The Byrne Anomaly

There’s a big-big name in flux between two big-big agencies, those being Mike Byrne, Wieden + Kennedy and Anomaly, respectively. Looks like Byrne, who headed up a lot of super familiar Nike Campaigns at W+K, is leaving to become one of the top dogs at Anomaly, who has clients like Coca-Cola, The New York Times, and Virgin. Here’s the scoop:

At W+K, Byrne, 36, a copywriter by trade, worked on a string of high-profile campaigns, including 2001’s “Play,” which celebrated the simple joys of playing games.
