Revolving Door: New York Magazine Hires Justin Davidson

According to Playbill Arts, New York magazine is getting a two-few with their newest hire, Justin Davidson, who will start up at the magazine come September as both the architecture critic and the classical music critic, the same dual role he’s had over at Newsday (where he won the Pulitzer back in 2002). In what looks to be a move to consolidate their ranks, New York recently let go of their former classical music critic of 26 years, saying they didn’t need him anymore, as well as finally getting the first full-time architecture critic with Davidson, the first they’ve had since 2004.
