Revolving Door: New Hires at Surface

Surface‘s “Men’s Issue” (at left) is hitting newsstands now, but the magazine’s newest hires are of the fairer sex, even if they both began their careers at GQ. Joining the masthead as managing editor is Amy Prince, a 12-year veteran of lifestyle magazines including Details, CITY, and Texas Monthly. The new fashion director of Surface is Linnea Olson-Schwartz, who spent a year on the business side at Vogue before moving into GQ‘s fashion department. After four years there, she served as market director at young Hachette Filipacchi titles ELLE Girl and then ELLE Accessories.
