A couple Revolving Door items to note today, involving Reuters, CNN and Cosmopolitan. Details are below.
- Eric Effron has been named Reuters’ news editor for the Americas. Effron has been with Reuters since 2010, serving as editor of Reuters Legal. Prior to joining Reuters, Effron served as The Week’s executive editor and managing editor. He begins his new Reuters role on August 1.
- CNN has named Samantha Barry its senior director of social news. She comes to the company from BBC World News, where she served as a social media producer.
