Report: As Many as Five Recent Departures From People
Gawker reports, citing an email from editor Larry Hackett, that a whole bunch of people have left, um, People.
The email announces the departure of managing editor Maggie Murphy (Parade announced today that it had hired her as editor) and design director Sara Williams. Murphy’s last day is June 3, and Williams departs at the end of May.
Gawker also says it hears that senior writer Galina Espinoza, senior writer Lisa Ingrassia, and senior writer Bob Meadows have left as well.
