After much speculation, we now know that Rebekah Brooks has been named CEO of News Corp.’s United Kingdom division, News UK.
Brooks, as you might recall, was charged with hacking phones during her previous tenure with News Corp. She was eventually cleared of all charges. All has been forgiven, apparently.
In the same announcement, News Corp. named David Dinsmore as COO of News UK, and Tony Gallagher as editor in chief of The Sun.
