Quartz to Move Headquarters

The new office is above Trader Joe's.

The Atlantic’s Quartz is moving its headquarters from near Union Square (233 Park Avenue South) to the Flatiron District (675 Avenue of the Americas).

In an announcement, Quartz executive editor Zach Seward said that the new office space will allow the site to accommodate more staffers.

“Moving offices can be a pain, but it’s also an opportunity to take stock of how the company has grown and what it could still become,” wrote Seward. “With this move, we’ve put an emphasis on capturing the culture, or Quartziness, that defines Quartz employees and their work: global, nerdy, creative, and so on.”

Quartz has signed a five-year lease at its new spot.
