Quartz, the business site from Atlantic Media, has launched an experimental professional in residence (PIR) program.
Khemaridh Hy has been tapped by Quartz as its first QIR. He most recently worked as a managing director at BlackRock.
Quartz co-presidents Kevin Delaney and Jay Lauf explained Hy’s role (and that of future QIRs) in a memo to staffers.
“Over the next six months he’ll be writing about productivity and the nature of work; he’ll also be working on producing an event.
