Publishing Vet Don Linn Chats About Murdoch, HarperCollins & Quartet Press On The Menu

Today on the media- bistro.com Morning Media Menu podcast, hosts Jason Boog of GalleyCat and AgencySpy‘s Matt Van Hoven were joined book publishing vet Don Linn, co-founder of new digital publisher, Quartet Press.

The first topic of conversation was News Corp.’s earnings report and CEO Rupert Murdoch’s announcement that he plans to charge for access to all of his newspapers’ and new channels’ Web sites in the near future. Linn added that News Corp.-owned HarperCollins reported a big loss as well, and it looks like things won’t get any better soon.
