Prevention magazine announced today that they are stepping up their fight against diabetes by launching free, personalized content on their new Diabetes DTour website.  The title’s new coverage, dubbed “Outsmart Diabetes”, will complement the many books, DVDs, and magazines Prevention has dedicated to reducing the prevalence and risk of diabetes — a disease on the rise in the U.S.

Prevention SVP/editorial director Bill Stump has high hopes for the Outsmart Diabetes program.

Prevention’s Outsmart Diabetes will be the most trusted, dynamic source of information for those living with or at risk of diabetes, cutting through the mass of conflicting services and products to bring clarity to consumers with diabetes interests/needs. As the leading healthy lifestyle magazine in the U.S., Prevention offers consumers pursuing a healthy life, the proactive information they need to feel their best.

Outsmart Diabetes coverage will include recipes and customized meal plans for diabetes patients, personalized menus and shopping lists, calorie and nutritional tracking tips, advice for managing blood sugar through diet and fitness, and exercise tips, plans, and programs.
