Prevention has named Eric Bizzak as its new national advertising director. Bizzak most recently served as VP of sales for Travel & Leisure. Prior to that, he was The Week’s advertising director. Bizzak has also held sales roles at Wired and Men’s Journal.
“We are thrilled to have Eric join the Prevention team following such an exciting year of growth for the brand, with paging increasing by five percent in 2013 and digital revenue by 42 percent,” said Prevention’s publisher, Lori Burgess, in a statement. “With the addition of his proven experience and leadership skills, we are poised to further this growth in 2014 as we explore new, multiplatform sales opportunities, including television.”
Bizzak’s appointment is effective immediately.
