Among the sea of Huffington Post contributors, you might notice one name today that seems to stand out — President Barack Obama. Our nation’s 44th head honcho has taken to HuffPost to pen an op-ed about creating family-friendly workplace policies.
“Family leave, childcare, flexibility and a decent wage aren’t frills,” writes Obama. “They’re basic needs. They shouldn’t be bonuses — they should be the bottom line.”
Beyond the fact that Obama shares a byline with a site that features headlines like “Don’t Expect Mila Kunis to do THIS” and “Ugh,” what we found interesting was that the comments on the president’s piece are remarkably civil. So far, at least.
