Political Art on Wilshire Blvd.
Fans of political art had better hurry down to 6150 Wilshire Boulevard, near South Fairfax Ave, between Beverly Hills and West Hollywood to see the Selected CIA Aircraft Routes and Rendition Flights 2001-2006 map. The billboard is up until Oct.8th.
The map is the work of artist/geographer Trevor Paglen, who also has a book Torture Taxi: On the Trail of the CIA’s Rendition Flights and John Emerson. Clockshop funded the installation.
Since this is LA, FBLA is pretty sure that millions have driven right by the installation, thinking it’s an ad for a new airline.
