Police Chief Bratton to Step Down

Our police chief is “pullin’ a Palin” and stepping down three years before his second term ends to pursue a rumored higher paying job.

LAT’s LA Now reports:

William J. Bratton is expected to announce plans to resign as chief of the Los Angeles Police Department today to take over as head of a private security firm, sources have told The Times.

The press conference is at noon today.
