Paul McCartney Surprises New York High School Students
During a recent appearance on (and in front of) Jimmy Kimmel Live, Paul McCartney recalled meeting Frank Sinatra at Royal Albert Hall in London. The thrill of that remembered encounter today gives way to one involving some 400 very lucky students at the Frank Sinatra School of the Arts in Astoria, Queens.
As part of iHeartRadio’s first-ever sponsored high school Q&A and performance, McCartney put on a little show! And per the headline, it was a total surprise. An iHeartRadio rep confirms to FishbowlNY that the students had no idea what they were in for until Sir Paul was publicly announced.
Today’s iHeartRadio Album Release Party also follows McCartney’s recent appearance at the company’s Las Vegas festival.
