Paul Jowdy Promoted to Senior VP, Group Publisher

A step up from VP and publisher.

Penske Media Corporation (PMC) has promoted Paul Jowdy to senior vice president and group publisher of Women’s Wear Daily (WWD). Jowdy had served as VP and publisher of WWD since 2011.

“Fairchild’s [PMC bought Fairchild Fashion Media in 2014] next chapter is here and the evolution to where the market will be next depends much on leveraging the talent and experience of Paul, whose proven leadership and sales advances have established a momentum we’ll continue to build upon,” said Fairchild president and vice chairman, Stephanie George, in an announcement.
