Patch Faces More Plagiarism Woes

Yesterday, we brought you the news that a local blogger had called a Patch editor out for lifting a photo from the blogger’s site. The Patch editor eventually admitted to having taken the photo without attribution, and Cox “consider[s] the matter closed.”

Barely had the dust settled on that when the news broke that West Hollywood Patch had plagiarized part of an obituary for John Chase, an urban designer. In this case, it was a freelance contributor, not the Patch editor herself, but when editor Nancy C.
