Old People Love Fox News
Old people love them some Fox News. That’s according to The New York Times, which reports that the median age of Fox News viewers has been 65 or older for the past five years. And lest you think those people are just passed out in their La-Z-Boys, they’re not! Well, some of them definitely are. But these viewers are the main reason Fox News generates huge profits, even though younger consumers are tuning the network out.
The elderly yelling “Give me my Fox News!” and “Where the hell are the Entenmann’s!?” force cable systems to shell out 94 cents a month to carry the channel.
