NYT.com Launches Times Widgets
They may be mortgaging the building and selling their assets but the New York Times is forging ahead online. NYT.com has just launched Times Widgets, which allows Times users build their own widgets using NYT.com’s RSS feeds.
We’re told that currently the widgets can be embedded on personal Web sites, blogs, iGoogle, Blogger, Vox, and Netvibes but that in the future you’ll be able to embed your custom widget on part of the NYTimes.com hompage, as well as, more social networking sites.
