NY Times Takes Pity on Knicks Beat Writer

The Knicks are awful. At 5-32, they are the worst team in the NBA. The Knicks are like a dumpster fire — simply a collection of combusting garbage. With that in mind, The New York Times has taken pity on its Knicks beat writer, Scott Cacciola.

Now that the Knicks have traded away JR Smith (a very good thing!) and Iman Shumpert [pictured, far left], the Times is allowing Cacciola to cover another — well, we should say, an actual basketball team.

“We feel it’s only merciful to give our Knicks beat writer, Scott Cacciola, a break from such woeful basketball,” explained the Times.
