That New York Post entertainment vertical we’ve been hearing about has a name: Decider. According to a memo from Jesse Angelo, the Post’s publisher, the site (decider.com) will be a standalone venture, like Page Six is now.
“The widespread adoption of streaming services and platforms has fundamentally changed the way we consume and think about television, movies and digital entertainment,” wrote Angelo, in the memo. “Decider.com will be dedicated to helping consumers explore and enjoy the new, and occasionally overwhelming, world where we can watch what we want, when we want, on any device, thanks to the likes of Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, Vimeo, YouTube, Roku, Apple TV, HBO Go, Crackle, and so on.”
Decider is expected to launch within the next few months. It’ll be edited by Mark Graham, who most recently worked as managing editor of VH1 Digital.
