New York Times Wins Two Global Media Awards at CES
Over at WebNewser, TVNewser’s Chris Ariens, who is out in Las Vegas for the International CES, reports that The New York Times won two awards last night at the first ever Global Media Awards.
The Times won Outstanding Short Format Entertainment for “Life in Transition,” an NYTimes.com video about a homeless Bronx man, who probably has schizophrenia as well a drug addiction. It has been described as “one of the most compelling, informative, and illuminating documentaries on chronic homelessness.”
