Ever eager to encapsulate the zeitgeist in its glossy pages, New York‘s headline declares that the 21st Century has converged on Boston.

From questionably reliable information dissemination to the self-radicalization of young men to the voluntary foregoing of freedoms for safety, it seems the grander stories of the Boston bombings make for good magazine journalism.
