Today’s front page banners a double-barreled shot at the Texas senator.
Columnist Linda Stasi counts down the Presidential candidate’s “Top 5 Lies,” while reporters Dan Rivoli and Denis Slattery profile five “New York Heroes” whose actions reflect the true values of the city. Included in the latter list is Kay Brown, the 27-year-old founder of non-profit Kay’s Kicks, who made headlines and the Daily News front page back in November for selflessly giving over to a homeless woman on the subway the boots on her feet:
“The Daily News got it right,” Brown said [of the paper’s Friday front page].
