New Jersey Network Will Spin Off Without Layoffs
New Jersey governor Chris Christie signed legislation last week that will begin the spinning off of public broadcaster New Jersey Network into a private entity.
He also suspended the planned layoffs of NJN’s 130 staffers, who had previously been told they would lose their jobs.
“It’s very good news. We’re happy that there is a goal for an independent entity that will continue to serve a New Jersey centric broadcasting mission,” acting executive director Janice Selinger told
