New 'Bond' Not Shaken Or Stirred
The new James Bond flick, “Quantam of Solace,” is not exactly bowling the critics over . After “Casino Royale” introduced Daniel Craig as the new, suave, stunningly spectacular Bond, his follow-up is leaving the critics cold.
Variety’s Derek Elley sums it up nicely: “Played with a cold, mechanical efficiency that recalls the ‘Bourne’ movies, with almost no downtime or emotional hooks, ‘Quantum’ will find some solace in beefy initial returns but looks unlikely to find a royale spot in Bond history or fans’ hearts.”
