Lucky Group of NABJ Journalists Huddle With Prince

Hand-picked "storytellers" included Michael Wilbon and Eric Deggans.

While a number of National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) convention attendees expressed their disappointment on Twitter last night over the fact that an organized trip to Prince’s Paisley Park compound failed to deliver a live performance by the artist, 10 lucky organization members’ ears are still ringing for a different happy reason. Per a report by the Minneapolis Star Tribune’s Jon Bream, these hand-picked reporters got to chat with Prince for close to an hour:

Prince met with 10 journalists including Michael Wilbon of ESPN, Eric Deggans of NPR and Bob Butler of KCBS Radio in San Francisco.
