James Murdoch and Lachlan Murdoch, CEO and co-executive chairman of 21st Century Fox, respectively, are keeping a close eye on Gretchen Carlson’s sexual harassment suit against Fox News president Roger Ailes.
According to The New York Times, the Murdoch boys have had daily meetings about the lawsuit with a team of lawyers. Their father, Rupert Murdoch, also phones in to discuss the crisis. The meetings are a way for the Murdochs to ensure that “impartial and thorough consideration is given to the matter.”
