MPA Slowly Saves the Environment

Remember back in March how we told you about the environmental problems with the magazine industry. You know, like how its responsible for the destruction of 63 million tress every year, in the United States alone? Well, the MPA finally joined the recycling revolution, debuting three PSAs designed to encourage people to take old mags from the trash to the big blue bins.

Nina Link, the MPA’s president and CEO, explained the ads in a statement:

“These new public service ads are yet another way for publishers to encourage their readers to take a more active role in environmental conservation through magazine recycling.
