MPA Continues Search for President

A frontrunner has emerged.

The search for a new head of the Association of Magazine Media (MPA) continues. The MPA has been without a president since Mary Berner departed last September to join Cumulus Media.

According to the New York Post, one candidate has emerged as the clear frontrunner to succeed Berner: Linda Thomas Brooks.

Thomas Brooks is an ad exec who currently sits on the board of advisers of ColSpace Corporation, a digital marketing company. She previously worked for GM’s ad agency GM MediaWorks and served as president of Gear Digital and The Martin Agency’s Ingenuity Media.

The MPA is likely to make an announcement soon.
